AC Inspection Service
The obvious first step to addressing AC problems is to have a trained service technician run an appropriate diagnostic. Sometimes this gets coupled with your annual inspection, but it typically involves checking refrigerant levels, cooling fans, and identifying/replacing broken components. Here are a few things we look at during inspection:
• Check output temperatures
• Inspect for broken fuses, switches, condensers, wiring, and internal compressor seals
• Check the Freon level
• Verify that belts/hoses are still in working order
• Check the system fan level
• Make sure the compressor and blower fan are working properly
Even if you don’t suspect anything broken, it’s a good idea to get these things checked frequently (at least once a year).
AC Recharge Service
Your car might have all those items functioning correctly and still need a recharge to counteract the small leaks that can impact cooling efficiency. That’s why recharging is a good idea. We can recharge your AC by adding more refrigerant, thereby bringing the pressure back to the appropriate PSI.
We can also identify all the system leaks by running a fluorescent dye through the hoses. If we see those issues getting out of hand, we can address them as well.
